We carried out a comprehensive educational outreach at the HOTPEC Orphanage located at Mile 14, Buea, Cameroon, with the aim of promoting access to education and supporting vulnerable children who face significant barriers to learning. This initiative demonstrated our commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the tools and resources necessary to pursue education and build a brighter future.
During the outreach, the foundation donated over 200 school bags, books, and pens to orphaned children at HOTPEC, providing them with essential learning materials that many take for granted but which are often out of reach for vulnerable children. This donation reinforced the importance of education as a foundation for personal and community development, sending a clear message to these children that their education matters and that they have a community invested in their success.

Our Approach
Removing Barriers to Education Through Direct Material Support
Our educational outreach at HOTPEC Orphanage was designed to address one of the most fundamental barriers to education: lack of basic learning materials. We recognized that many orphaned children, despite their desire and ability to learn, were unable to fully participate in their education because they lacked essential supplies such as school bags, notebooks, textbooks, and writing materials. Without these basic tools, attending school becomes difficult, and academic success becomes nearly impossible.
We provided over 200 complete school supply packages to children at the orphanage, ensuring that each child received a new school bag filled with books, pens, notebooks, and other essential learning materials.
